On behalf of a Swedish investment firm Cymus Holding AB, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the lease extensions relating to two ERJ 145 EP's operating with Aerodynamics, Inc (ADI), based in Atlanta, Georgia. The lease extensions relate to serial numbers 145169 and 145185 and were negotiated with ADI's new owner, ADI Acquisition Co., a special purpose company set up by the owners of SeaPort, a regional airline based in Portland, Oregon. SeaPort flies regional routes on the West Coast and in the Southeast and Central Southeast United States and plans to link Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport with Chicago O'Hare as soon as DOT approval is granted.
On behalf of VLM Airlines of Belgium, Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale of a Fokker 50 (serial number 20121) to a Kenyan leasing entity Gikama Ltd. Previously OO-VLR, the 1988 built aircraft has been re-registered as 5Y-WFA and will be leased to Rudufu Ltd, a Nairobi-based airline. Rudufu has passenger and cargo operations in East and Central Africa mostly in the charter sector, and serves International relief and humanitarian organisation contracts. The aircraft arrived in Kenya on 8th August.
On behalf of Markpoint International Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of two Saab 340A aircraft, serial numbers 051 and 136. The aircraft were previously in operation with Mali Air Express and have since been in long term storage in Orebro, Sweden. The aircraft have been sold on to Western Air of the Bahamas. Western Air is headquartered at San Andros International Airport and its current fleet consists of five Saab 340As which operate daily scheduled flights between Nassau, San Andros, Congo Town, Bimini, and Freeport, Grand Bahama. Western Air also has a charter division that offers on-demand charters throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean, Central and South America. The airline is currently the largest privately owned airline in the Bahamas and employs over 140 full time employees.
On behalf of Blue Islands of Guernsey, Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale of two Jetstream 32 aircraft to start up airline S-Air of Austria. S-Air took delivery of serial number 915 in December 2014 which is currently located in Malmö, Sweden. The sale of the second aircraft, serial number 873, closed yesterday and was ferried to Friedrichshafen, Germany. Both aircraft await interior and exterior refurbishment and will eventually bear the new registration marks OY-SGP and OY-ZEA.

Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale and leaseback of six EMB 170’s from LOT Polish Airlines to a global private investment firm. The aircraft are 2004/5 vintage - serial numbers 17000029, 17000035, 17000065, 17000069, 17000073, 17000074. Skyworld Aviation was exclusively appointed by LOT to market their fleet of EMB 170 aircraft, and although all six aircraft will continue in revenue service with LOT some will be offered for sub lease during 2015. LOT Polish Airlines is a modern, European carrier bringing connectivity to CEE region with over 40 destinations in the world, including Europe, North America and Asia. Acting on behalf of Largus Aviation AB of Sweden, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of a Fokker 50, serial number 20194, to MayAir of Mexico. The aircraft, now registered as XA-UUU, arrived in Cancύn at the end of January. MayAir is part of Cancύn Travel Concepts, serving the Yukatán peninsula in South Eastern Mexico with regional flights from Cancύn. One of the main routes will be to the popular tourist destination Cozumel, one of the best scuba diving destinations in the world.
Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the exclusive appointment by air ambulance specialist Redstar Aviation (Turkey) to market a superb BAE Jetstream 32 aircraft. The aircraft is one of the finest examples on the market being a late build (1996) with low hours and cycles. It has a comprehensive set of avionics compliant with EU Ops 1 which includes an Autopilot. The onboard facilities are excellent, with 19 grey leather seats, baggage pod, lavatory and an air conditioning freon system.
Acting on behalf of Sverigeflyg Leasing AB, Skyworld Aviation has arranged the sale of one Quick Change Saab 340A, serial number 066 to Fleet Air International of Hungary. The aircraft was previously in operation with Nextjet and was delivered to its new owner last Friday. Fleet Air is primarily a cargo operator currently operating a fleet of three Saab 340A Cargo aircraft on contract and ad-hoc charters throughout Europe. The new QC aircraft will be used to back up the cargo operation and will aslo be used to develop the passenger charter market out of Budapest. Serial number 066 now bears the registration HA-TVG.
Great start to 2014! This is the first newsletter for some time, after having had a challenging but ultimately successful 2013. 2014 got off to a flying start for Skyworld Aviation, having delivered ten aircraft at the back end of December / early January. This came as a welcome ‘new beginning’ after the first few months of 2013 falling short of expectations! Whilst most were winding down, the last week of December was a hive of activity at Skyworld, and during the first quarter of 2014 we delivered three ATR 72’s, three Saab 340B’s, two Airbus A320’s, one ERJ 145 and one Jetstream 32.

Skyworld Aviation is pleased to announce the sale of an ERJ 145 to Air Taraba, Nigeria. The aircraft was delivered earlier this year. Air Taraba is a government owned state airline which is yet to start operations. The State of Taraba is situated on the Eastern side of Nigeria and is named after the Taraba river which runs through the South of the State. The aircraft will serve the State alongside an existing ERJ 145.
Acting on behalf of specialist bank and asset manager Investec, Skyworld Aviation is delighted to announce the sale of an ex-Kingfisher Airlines ATR 72-500 to South Pacific operator Air Calédonie. Serial number 759, now registered as F-ONCL, was delivered in Singapore last week after completing an extensive maintenance and refurbishment programme at Fokker Services facility there. It will depart for New Caledonia later this week.
Acting on behalf of Blue Islands of the Channel Islands, Skyworld Aviation is delighted to have arranged the sale of a Jetstream 32 for onward operation with Aeroandinas of Venezuela. The aircraft, serial number 871, was painted at Airbourne Colours in Bournemouth prior to departure, still bearing its Blue Islands registration G-ISLB. It embarked on its long ferry flight over the Arctic from Guernsey on 27th December, arriving at Santo Domingo, Venezuela (SVSO) on 2nd January.
Skyworld Aviation is delighted to have arranged an ACMI lease of a Saab 340B to Inter Îles Air in the Comoros Islands on behalf of AeroJet, Ukraine. Serial number 163 (UR-ALC) was recently returned to AeroJet from lease to South Airlines. AeroJet is primarily an executive jet operator in the Ukraine, with aircraft based out of Odessa and Kiev Zhulyany. The fleet comprises three Embraer Phenom 100/300 aircraft and a Saab 340B aircraft.
Skyworld Aviation is pleased to announce that Air Urga of the Ukraine has taken delivery of a Saab 340B from UK-based investment firm Spitfire Investments. Serial number 360 embarked on its ferry flight from Springfield, U.S. to the Ukrainian operator last Friday. The aircraft has the new registration UR-ELU and is placed on lease with Air Urga.
